Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly happening.
